The other is through a University Recommendation, by which Tokyo Tech recommends candidates for MEXT Scholarships. Simultaneous recommendation for both of these types of scholarships is not allowed. Upon receiving recommendations from Japanese embassies and universities, MEXT shall make the final decision regarding recipients.
Applicants for a master course must hold a bachelor degree from an accredited educational institution comparable to a bachelor degree offered at the University of Tokyo. Note that ADB-JSP provides their scholarships only for students pursuing a master's degree.
